umitomo, Sunseap a Shikoku Electric spolupracují na poskytování bilaterálních PPA velkým energetickým uživatelům v Japonsku. Konsorcium bude fungovat prostřednictvím účelově{0}}vybudovaného společného podniku a bude nabízet tři různé možnosti PPA.
Japonský dodavatel elektrického zařízení a průmyslová skupina Sumitomo Corporation spolupracuje s japonskou energetickou společností Shikoku Electric Power a singapurským solárním vývojářem Sunseap na vývoji projektů solární energie v Japonsku na základě smlouvy o nákupu elektřiny.
Tyto tři společnosti bude provozovat společný podnik Sun Trinity LLC, který bude poskytovat solární energii velkým uživatelům elektřiny prostřednictvím čtyř různých bilaterálních dohod.
One of the three options the consortium has offered is an on-site PPA, which sells electricity to customers through installations operated by Sun Trinity on rooftops and other locations of electricity customers. The second option includes off-site PPAs, through which the joint venture sells electricity to the buyer from a solar farm located off the consumer's premises and feeds it into the grid.
Třetí možností je obchodní model virtuální elektrárny (VPP), který virtuálně spravuje distribuované solární a energetické zdroje a poskytuje služby rozvodné sítě. Poslední varianta bude zahrnovat model Energy Services Company (ESCO), kde společný podnik poskytuje energetické služby koncovým uživatelům, včetně instalace fotovoltaických systémů, zavádění energeticky -úsporných zařízení a renovací budov.
In a press release, Sumitomo stated, "The company can leverage Sumitomo and Shikoku Electric's long-standing expertise in the power business, as well as a range of related business infrastructures we have built in Japan over the years, while also leveraging Sunseap in solar power generation. world-class capabilities in engineering design and associated equipment procurement."
According to current regulations in Japan, corporate PPAs must have power companies involved, with the exception of on-site PPAs, where both physical and virtual forms of PPA are allowed. In a brick-and-mortar PPA, the electricity buyer pays the generator a fixed fee through the retailer, including "packaging" and management fees.
